The Reds (0-1) fell to the 908 Panthers (1-0) by a score of 2-1 at Oakwood on Sunday. We saw much of the same from Pierce on the hill as he went 7+ shutout in relief. The bats were kept in check by two Panther pitchers. Back at it in Patterson against the Vets (1-0) on Sunday! #RedsBaseball
MVP for Rob Grasso! Rob finished 1st/2nd in just about every offensive category this summer, pacing the league with a .520 avg, 13 hits and 17 RBI (in 10 games). Defensively he was golden at the hot corner at Oakwood. Joins Reds MVPs Tyler DeGeorge (2022) & Matt Nesto (2021) 🏆
The #1 Reds defeated the #4 Misfits 11-1 on Sunday to advance to the semi finals. Michael Pierce went the distance striking out 7. Luca Vitale laced a 2-run 2B in the effort and all 11 Reds scored or knocked in a run #RedsBaseball ⚾️
