New Providence Reds

The #1 Reds (11-1) defeated the #2 Jersey Bandits (7-5) 13-5 on Sunday to secure their spot in the NJABL North Summer Championship this Sunday! The bats stayed hot as Dean Licari led the way going 4/4 with a HR and 2 RBI. Rob Grasso went 3/3 with a 2B and 3 RBI and Michael Pierce contributed with 8 innings of 3 run ball and also belted a 2-run HR late! #RedsBaseball ⚾️

Dominant performances on both sides of the plate as the Reds (1-0) opened the season with a W against the Union Misfits (0-1). Reigning Cy Young Pierce tossed 6 IP of 1 run ball with 9K. He added 2 RBI. Grasso & Santacross contributed 3 RBI each, Vitale & Licari each scored 3x ⚾️
