The 2017 was the Reds most difficult one in their 5 years in New Providence. They finished the regular season 9-9, with 8 of those losses being by 2 or fewer runs, including being walked off on 3 times. Despite the .500 record, they still made their 5th straight post season birth, but after losing to the Jersey Rays (via walk-off; the theme of the season) 4-3 and then toppling the Kenilworth Astros 10-5, they ultimately fell to the Montclair Bulldogs 3-1 concluding the season at 10-11. No doubt are the Reds hungry for the 2018 season!
